All you need to know about my trip back to Montreal on Monday: my route was St. John's -> Halifax -> Montreal, and the last time I saw my luggage was Monday afternoon in Toronto. I guess the fog made it hard to see my bag.

Not so much, no. Air Canada's "WhereTF's my luggage, bitch?" number is busy, which I guess tells me what I should expect for getting my stuff back soon.

It is always busy. I only get any kind of information out of WorldTracer's web site.

Oh, cool, I didn't know that site existed.

Except it's saying "We are sorry we cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later."

I get that about once in ten tries. Just try again. BTW, I find the system is less confuse if I get there through aircanada's web site. (Information | Baggage | Lost or Delayed | link to WorldTracer.) The YULAC12345 number is on your delayed-baggage form that you surely got at the airport.

Come to think of it, reading the delayed-baggage form is how I knew about WorldTracer in the first place. :)

Touche. It still says "TRACING CONTINUES. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER" though, so I don't have any more information.

Usually takes a couple days after reporting the loss. Sometimes three.
