Happy Dog

I went to the Happy Dog Agility Trial today which was fun.  I got to see a bunch of people I hadn't seen in a few weeks since I've been practically housebound with the puppies.

It's so funny how many of my grown puppies know that I'm there without me even saying or doing anything.  Either they hear me talk or they can smell me (which I'm not sure sure if that's a good thing or not!).  I wasn't even out of my car and Strut was pulling to come and say hi :-)  Then Freddie, Suite (I didn't breed her but had her from about 8 weeks to 6 months? before Judy Turner bought her).  I did a photo shoot for a Purina Puppy Chow bag with Suite at the beach when she was about 10-12 weeks old.  I also got to visit Will and Razor who think I'm da bomb :-)  I have no clue why.   One of the best things about going to agility trials is seeing "my" puppies.

Kate has a new pup named "Pro".  She's a Trim granddaughter.  Trim is Driven's sire.  Pro is adorable and I posted a bunch of pics that I took of her today in my www.dogsportphotos.com gallery under DOGS / DRIVEN DOGS.  We sat her on a gigantic pumpkin and I shot as many pics as I could before she slid off :-) . That pumpkin patch is great for a background.  I took most of the pics with my 135mm lens and I thought I should definitely be using it more because it's amazing.

When I came home I let Fleet's pups out on the patio to play and took a bunch of pics of them.  It was getting dark but I think I got some good ones. They had a blast!  Fleet is such a great mom.  She really plays with her pups at this age and really likes them.  It's sad that there won't be any more Fleet x Mike pups because they have been such nice puppies but all good things must come to an end and she's had plenty of puppies.

I'm really enjoying reading Heather and Julie's blogs about Bean and Tempie.  They're such nice pups and it's fun to see them and hear about what they are up to.
