new laptop computer specs-what do you think?

My laptop is going on five years come August. It still works great (knock on wood)..only trouble is, it lacks the processing speed and power I need for things like video editing, video capture and anything "heavy duty". In fact, my video editor often "hiccups" when I'm creating vids. Time to look for a more powerful machine, but one that won't

It's a good one! That's the same as my laptop! :)

I mostly use my iMac though, I have windows on it as well But I do use the laptop for writing and such. :)

you are welcome! It's even travelled with me a few times, and has been just fine.

I am still going to get a macbook at some point, especially now that you can put Windows on them. But that won't be for quite a while.

nope an iMac is a desktop computer :)

I use a macbook at work, and love it. It belongs to the company I work for, we use macs there, which I love ;)

Really? All we've ever used where I work is Windows. I don't think I've ever worked for a company that didn't use them. What kind of company do you work for, hon'?
