Review: Geo Medical Nudy Green Circle Lenses

Jul 21, 2011 16:36

Part two of my group order with sakurae and Pinky Paradise. I had these in mind for when* I do a new shoot with my cartoon Zelda costume.

* - Yes, when. WHEN! Not "if"! You hear me up there?! WHEN! *shakes fist at the Universe*

In the case. The first thing I noticed is that the color is not as bright as shown on the shop's website. It's more of a leaf green than a lime green. That seems to happen a lot with contact lenses. Since I was hoping for something brighter I'm thinking I may squander some cash on the E.O.S Max Misty Green, based on this review.

The required in-the-bathroom close-up. For being translucent in the case, these circle lenses have great coverage!

♪...It had-a one big horn and-a one big eye! ♪ Oh, sorry. ;) The lens is in the right eye as you view the photo.

I have no idea why my face looks orange in these shots. o_0;

For not having as much "pop" as I personally would have wanted, these are great lenses and I understand why they're popular. They give a nice doe-eyed effect and color saturation, making the eyes more compelling without calling attention to the fact one is wearing contact lenses. They are also very comfortable. It only took a couple of minutes before I couldn't feel them on my eyes. They are not available with power, though, at least not from Pinky Paradise.

So now I'm jonesing for more circle lenses. XD I can't find any photos of models with blue eyes, so I'm wondering if the E.O.S Max Misty Brown would give a good "Twilight" Cullen eye look. This shot has me leaning towards the New Adult Brown for that purpose, but I'm torn.

What? Alice and the eyes are the best part of that franchise!
