Fast forward to 3:15

So i've watched this before and I think Warren Buffet has a powerful analogy. It's important every now and then (should be every day but we get caught up in our lives) to think about how lucky we are with our lives. Despite our challenges, our heartaches, our down times, is it really that bad? It's easy to forget there is a whole world out there, and there are people struggling even in our state (though poor people here are prob still way better off than people in 3rd world countries). I'm not blind to it, but it's easy to forget. And I'm also caught in the mindset "Well what could I do to change the world?" It would be nice if my job coincided with helping make the world a better place but what sacrifices would that take? There's the huge problem with what, 85% of dentists being in urban areas on the western coast of washington. Access to healthcare in rural areas is a HUGE problem but i don't think i can live out there. At the same time, how good am i going to feel with an office in the city treating insurance patients while there are ___ (i forget the numbers) kids on medicaid and 90% of dentists won't take them because you only get 30cents on the dollar? It's sad. Well, just something to think about. You're lucky!
