berkeley!
It's been crazy since I got back, working 9am-4pm at the dental office then driving straight to work at the restaurant until 10:30..crazy!! i'm tired and my feet hurt! so bad that i wore SHOES today, like with socks...it's seriously been half a year or more.
Anyway, the excitement you've all been waiting for! More documentation of my evolving wardrobe, etc.
So I got to Berkeley Sunday morning at 9:30am (so early!)...btw it was also Lisa's bday! So straight from the airport Amitha, Sharon and I went shopping downtown San Francisco until 8pm!! Just a foreword about the whole trip: the shopping was disappointing, I didn't get as much as I would've liked. But anyway, from what i remember..dress/jumper from forever 21, silver straps and across the boobs then black on bottom. i like it cause it's kinda dressy, reminds me of something sienna miller would wear. I also got black steve madden mid-calf slouchy boots from DSW, $150...they weren't discounted, but they are the most comfy and good-looking boots i've tried on so far, so i'm telling myself it's worth it. You should tell me so too.
The last day I was in Berkeley Amitha and I went shopping on College Ave. at a store called Jeremy's where they have clearance designer clothes. My steal of the day - a short sleeve belted silk chiffon animal print A.B.S. dress that retails for $310....for $45!!!!!!!! ya!!! it looks so sophisticated. i don't know when i'll wear it but i can't wait!
I'm excited I got a dress for Guy's mom's wedding! It's a sleeveless purple deep v-neck lace dress with satin trim. super cute and surprised i found it at wetseal! but seriously, the one we have here sucks. I scheduled an airbrush tanning session before the wedding so i'm excited for that too.
At another mall I got a cute olive cap-sleeve turtleneck sweater dress. Ok that was tiring but i think i hit all the main things. I haven't added all my receipts yet but my guess for total cost of the trip including food/shopping/airfare is $500-$550. Only cause the boots were so much though.
Oh ya, and for non-shopping related things!! I met up with a bunch of people from crew and that was so nice to catch up. We also got the suite together and watched beauty and the geek! That one guy is prez of Cal's rubberband club!!! And i love Tony he is so dorky! I hate Jasmine though, she looks like she's in middle school and she is sooooo NOT a beauty! fug!! (as perez would say). I missed top model so i'm watching it right now on my computer so SEE YA!
