Let me first begin by saying that we, at our apartment, have basic basic cable. The lowest of the low. 11 local channels, 2 espanol channels, and 4 home shopping channels. Whenever we go to Kevin's parents we get the chance to "watch tv." While house/cat/plant sitting these past 10 days, I have discovered several shows that I've been missing out on- namely iCarly and The Penguins of Madagascar on Nickelodeon. My new quest in life is to find out if these air anywhere online so I am not dependent upon the in-laws for my entertainment.
I've been in the biggest mood for fried chicken lately. What's that about?
Because Kevin's parents aren't here for the 4th and because neither of us would go to his family reunion without being forced, we've made plans to hang out with a friend and play nerdy role playing games. Then my mom decided to be a bigger jerk than usual to my dad (in short, their anniversary is on the 4th and when my dad called her to see if she had to work, she had a line of excuses in place before he could even invite her to a bbq with him and randi) so I invited my dad, Randi, Donny and Erin to spend the 4th with us and Lance, having a bbq and playing nerdy role playing games. The jury is still out on their involvement, but I hope they end up visiting, because I think it would be good for my dad. And because we could have one kickin' party. :)
