Lets go fly a kite
Marshmallow Matey's, a friend in every bite! I decided recently that I should write jingles for children's cereal. You should hear the vocals--it has an edgy rock sound to it. I'm currently working on the lyrics to an oatmeal jingle that involves informing people of its great power of regulating the digestive system....
It is spring break! I don't even know why I'm so excited for a week off, I just am. Its not like I totally hate my job or anything, and its not like I won't be working at all (because I have a ton of work to do to get ready for the spring and the end of the year) but I'm just excited to be without little children in the classroom. I'm also in a huge animated movie mood; I watched Madagascar Escape 2 Africa today and I'm really feeling the need to watch some Emperor's New Groove. I wish I had it!!
It's pouring rain. I love the rain. Except for right now, because I'm in the mood to go play outside soccer, baseball, anything. I tried playing soccer in doors and almost took out the sliding glass door. So that had to stop. You think I would've learned that lesson as a kid...
My spring break plans include (besides working a day or two) going to the beach for the day, going canoeing for a day, taking a hike, and relaxing at home. Kevin and I decided that short day trips here and there throughout the week would be much more economical than an actual vacation... plus I do need to go in to school at least one day to work on some math curriculum (I get paid extra, so why not?).
