Mrs. B is an idiot. Apparently if someone doesn't give her a list people who are authorized to enter an office then she'll just let anyone in. Yeah... that's pretty retarded. For the next Opinions piece about how the UC higher-ups are using money to fund their own pleasure purchases we should compare it to how Mrs. B bought a bunch of stuff for herself that wasn't even necessary since I think the production office would use a new computer rather than the the Powerbook she bought herself.
In other news I also hate half the people in my sculpture class. Today we were getting familiar with the tools and machines and so we were allowed to just put anything together. I was grabbing scraps of wood and metal and hot glueing and screwing them together without really thinking. Turns out it kinda looked like a canon. Well I walk away to grab some chicken wire and right when I walk back I over hear one of the students talking to the professor about my little project. Basically he said that since my piece wasn't art and that it was stupid that I was just throwing things together recklessly. Well first off that's what everyone was doing. And second he's an asshole. And lastly I wasn't trying to make anything other then looking for loose pieces of material to work with so that I could familiarize myself with the hand tools.
A day full of idiots and it's only noon.
