Here we are.
I am taking on some comfortable times in my life. It's been pretty easy going... smooth sailing I suppose. I haven't had any problems. Or if I have, they haven't gotten to me. Drama has been abundant. It seems like everyone around me is depressed or is being thrown on an emotional rollercoaster. As much as I want to laugh politely so things aren't so awkward, it's gotten to the point where doing so is considered insensitive, so I'm having to ease off on that.
Working at the veterinary clinic has been interesting. Some of my co workers hate each other. All of them hate my boss. I enjoy the 9 pound tumor that has remained in the freezer since we pulled it off a Bull Mastiff (enormous dogs) over a week or two ago. I'll have to take pictures of that freezer to share with the internet. I've been bitten only twice since I started working there early August. I've been snapped at and threatened by animals several times. You only get bitten if you go at them nervously. Not too often do we get pets that aren't dogs or cats, but I've seen a couple snakes, a few rodents, couple birds and maybe three rabbits.
Number of times my boss has unintentionally killed an animal in my presence: One.
Cat came in for a four paw declaw and a neuter. It died ten minutes after its surgeries were done. It wasn't able to handle the surgery due to an abnormally large heart, which we discovered in an x-ray after it died.
Anyway, I now own a laptop with wireless internet capabilities. It has been a childhood goal to be able to purchase a laptop. It seems incredible to me what I was able to pull off in just a few months of working. Especially if it's my first job.
Since working, I've gotten a car, a laptop, credit lines, a cool jacket, gas, overdraft charges, mail from annoying companies, a cold... oh wait this was supposed to be positive.
My laptop's specs: 1.86GHz, 100 gigs of HD space, 1 gig of RAM, 14 inch screen, CD/DVD burners and whatever else laptops come with now.
Aside from that stuff, I believe I'm getting to know a girl that appears to like me. So, that situation ought to be updated as I see her.
I'll end my random update there. There's definitely more to it and it's mostly humor free because I'm lazy, tired and rusty on my internet use.
But I have a computer now, so there'll be more updates hopefully.
