Ooo, man. Flannel sheets. You got that right. Gotta be flannel. ALWAYS. I hate crawling into bed on a cold winter night with regular old cotton sheets. They're ICE COLD. And the take forever to warm up! But FLANNEL... oh yeah. It's like getting wrapped in a big warm hug. (Or a hot red head. Whichever.)
And in my opinion, flannel is better in the summer too. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have flannel sheets in the summertime, too. They just seem to be cooler. I certainly sleep better.
Been playing a lot of video games lately myself. First the divorce thing, then only having the kids three nights a week, (now four! W00t!) now getting laid off. Ugh. I refuse to play during nominal working hours though. Keeps me more on the job of finding a job.
I'm rather enamoured of OS X. I'm starting to shop for a new notebook too. I've got a minor consulting gig, and I'm hoping to ramp up the consulting time. Being self-employed wouldn't be too bad, if I can pull it off, especially considering the soft corporate job market. Regardless, for the consulting business I've got to have a better notebook than the one I'm using now. A five year old Toshiba pentium 266 just doesn't cut it.
