Summary: talking about my non-nano project

My nano is not going very well. Actually, I stalled out on day 5 and I haven't written anything since, besides this journal entry. I think I might have started 5 different novels and I just couldn't get any of them to stick. I'm just stressed out, partially because I moved recently and my apartment is great, but my personal life is not great. You would think now that I have an hour and a half commute, each way, I would have plenty of time to write, but I'm just exhausted. I actually did write 35k in September, mostly on the trains to and from work, so maybe it's not that. I don't know what it is exactly. I just decided today I'm gonna go ahead and try to finish that novel I started in September - a YA romance of all things lol - and try to post it on one of those feedback sites that could lead to a publishing contract. That's my new goal. If I ever actually finish it and post it, I will be proud, because I don't usually post things besides fanfic and wv stuff. That's the easy stuff for me, partially because fanfic is just letting out what you're thinking about the fandom, everyone knows that, and wv stuff is pretty easy to pound out. I haven't even been very active lately, but I want to continue, it's good inspiration. The characters in that September novel actually came from a wv post. I don't remember the prompt. I just looked, apparently it was just a prompt table post, which I've been slacking on lately. I have no idea how I basically built a novel out of that prompt, that's pretty cool. Now all I have to do is finish the thing.
