It's alive!

The new site is alive!

Please take a look at it, with a particular eye toward mizpellings and grammer bad.

My expectation is that most people will be hitting this via GoogleAds targeted at specific products, so: Assume you did a Google Search for "What is Agile Software Development" and you saw (and clicked) on the following link:

Learn Agile ( Read more... )

Two things:

(1) I think from a UI perspective, your home page is far more exciting than the landing page above. I'd consider adjusting the landing page template to make it match a little better. Nice homepage, btw :-)

(2) There's only one piece of text that bothers me. It's at the end of the first text frame in "About:"

By engaging and exciting our customers, we will be successful as they tell friends and coworkers.

I'm not sure what it means. And there's a mixture of tenses there that messes up my comprehension. And it doesn't feel like a proper wrap-up statement to what preceded it. I'd rethink it altogether.

Other than that - clear, informative, and I'd totally give you $99 right now if I had it. I may do it anyway, in a few days.

One more thing -
It should be "Whom Do We Serve" instead of "Who" on that same page.

You, my dear, rock. Good, fast, honest feedback. What more could you want?

Couple of qs:

1) What makes the home page more "exciting"? Busier? More graphics...?

2) Which of the products would you be the most interested in? (I'll be using Google Ads to collect conversion data to market test, but curious for your thoughts...)

1) More color and texture, I think. It doesn't necessarily have to be more graphics, but that's one way you could improve the product pages.

2) Startup Finance for Engineers :-)

In fact, I think if you add any Management or Decision Science type of courses to the "for Engineers" track, you would do very well. The beginning of a software process is always the most nebulous area for engineers, IMHO - all that stuff about people's emotional stake in what's being designed! Too many stakeholders! Not getting enough buy-in for something before you build it! At least, that's my problem today ;-)

Find a way to teach this, for instance: http://mat.gsia.cmu.edu/mstc/multiple/node4.html

Not that I'm trying to tell you what to sell ;-)

Love the bit: "(by using a non-management science technique called ``lying'')"

One of the courses I was actually thinking about was "Corporate Politics for Engineers."

1. at the bottom of each page - email subscription doesn't need a period.
2. http://www.attainware.com/about.php
second paragraph - you use "deliver" twice in the same sentence.
3. same about page - last sentence - it's spelled "convenient" :-)
4. I agree with the above that your home page is more interesting and eye catching than your landing page.

More later.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

Long time no hear... hope life's treating you ok... :)

I think I've fixed all of the issues, except for the bit about the home page being more interesting. That may take a day or two...
