Despite a rather gray and windy day yesterday, the long weekend started off rather nicely. Sam and I popped downtown for a walk along the water, out to Target for new glasses, and over to St. Pete Beach for dinner and a movie.
Somewhere in there, we also managed some snuggling with various creatures and harvesting of 32 lbs of Lemons, as well, as my first papaya, which has been brought inside to continue ripening.
Pictures included below, for your viewing pleasure.
My first papaya, 11 inches long, and a shade under 3.5 pounds.
Some of the 32 lbs of Meyer Lemons harvested off my tiny tree. For those of you counting at home, that's up from last year. It's also a heck of a lot of lemonade.
