Title: Twister
Pairing: Kame/Taguchi
Rating: PG

Genre: Friendship, fluffSummary:The members of KAT-TUN decide to play a friendly game of twister.

Kame thought that this was Nakamaru’s stupidest idea yet. He was coming up with new games for the “backstage corner” all the time, but something as lame as the game Twister? He must have been running out of ideas or something, and the members didn’t seem to be happy about this choice either. Everybody other than Taguchi was mumbling about it; the former who was bouncy and seemingly willing to try anything.

“Kame, right foot red,” Nakamaru read out, after spinning the dial. Kame grumbled to himself, stepping on a red circle on the plastic mat.
“Koki, left hand on blue,” Nakamaru read out again. Koki obliged, making an over exaggerated motion as he usually did.
“Taguchi, left foot on yellow.” He followed with no complaints.
“Wait, Nakamaru-kun how are you going to participate?” Ueda suddenly asked. Nakamaru stared at him.
“Uh…” He trailed off, squinting at something.
“You can ask camera-san to spin it!” Taguchi suggested brightly. Nakamaru nodded, and spun it again.
“Ueda, right hand on blue,” Ueda rolled his eyes, and went to stand near Koki. After Ueda’s turn, the camera man had taken the spinner from Nakamaru, so he could play too.
“Nakamaru-san, left foot on green,” he read out with a monotone voice. Nakamaru obliged happily.

This went on for a while, and it was starting to get more and more squished. At one turn, Kame’s face was directly behind Ueda’s ass. The next turn, he found himself face to face with Taguchi.
“Having fun?” Taguchi asked, a big smile on his face.
“Yeah sure,” Kame grunted slightly, back aching. Taguchi just kept on grinning. Kame smiled to himself slightly; Taguchi could really lighten up the mood. Despite his awkward position and the pain he felt, he was actually starting to enjoy the game.

The camera man kept spinning, and reading off instructions in a monotone, shifting the member’s positions more and more.
“Koki get your foot off my hand!” Ueda had yelled out. Without saying a word, Koki tried to shift his position, letting out a small whine.
“Koki you’re too close,” Nakamaru grunted slightly.
“I can’t help it!” Koki exclaimed. Kame couldn’t tell if he was getting mad or not.
“Nakamaru-kun how exactly are you going to keep points for this?” Kame asked. He tried to turn and face the older man, but he didn’t succeed because of Ueda’s backside pressed into his side.
“Uh,” Nakamaru hummed. “I hadn’t exactly considered that.” Groans circulated throughout the room.
“It doesn’t matter, just keep playing!” He told them.

They kept playing, almost becoming almost like a giant knot of five people.  Kame felt himself losing his balance, but he tried to stay up as long as possible. With the situation he was currently in, if he ended up falling, everybody else would go down with him. Not to mention Taguchi was almost directly beneath him. All of them were now quiet, probably trying to concentrate on staying up right. None of them wanted to lose, despite their negative reaction at first. As soon as another direction was read off, Kame felt a sudden shove from behind him.
“Ueda don’t shove me!” He complained. Ueda gave a small apology, trying to find a good position.

The position he was in was standing almost upright, with his right hand on the floor.  Taguchi was directly beneath him, almost in a crab like position; damn the guy’s flexibility!  So in short, they were face to face yet again. Taguchi had a small frown on his face from concentration, and his breath was hitting Kame’s cheek. He was feeling unbelievably warm but he couldn’t tell why.
“Damn!” Kame looked around for the source of the voice, but then suddenly he was forcibly dragged to the floor with a heap of other members around him.

But what he really wasn’t expecting was when he crashed face first into Taguchi, and their lips met briefly. All the motion and yelling around him stopped, his lips pressed against Taguchi’s warm ones. They were both still, neither of them drawing back. When Kame was forcibly pulled to his feet by Koki, he was sure he was beet red. The room was feeling a lot warmer than it had been before. Koki helped Taguchi up as well, and Kame avoided his gaze, clearing his throat.
“Nakamaru-kun I think we can all agree this game was a failure,” Kame said with a laugh. There were nods and sounds of agreement.
“It was fun though, right Kame?” Taguchi asked, grin ever present. Kame smiled, hiding his red face.
“Yeah, it was.”

Title: Falling
Pairing: Kame/Jin
Rating: PG

Genre: Friendship, fluff, hurt/comfortSummary: After making a mistake during the Break the Records concert, Jin comforts Kame.

It had happened so fast.

Everything had gone so well until the performance of Wilds of my Heart. The adrenaline was rushing, the crowd was screaming, and most importantly Kame didn’t notice how close he was getting to the edge. Everybody was running along the stage, and Kame felt the energy surging through him, so he ran as well. It hardly occurred to him that he had made a misstep until he felt himself falling. He heard the surprised gasps of the crowd before he even hit the ground. His vision went fuzzy for a short moment, and he was brought out of his reverie by the deafening screams of concerned fans, and the other members rushing to his aid. He mentally surveyed himself for any damage, and noticed his shoulder was throbbing in pain from the way he had landed. He let out a groan, as he tried to stand up. The flashing lights going off around them hurt his eyes, as he struggled back to his feet. Of course Taguchi had been the first one to arrive on the scene; man that guy could run fast.
“Kame are you okay?” He asked over the screams, looking at him with concern. Kame could only nod, and allow Taguchi to help him back up onto the stage. He cradled his left arm to his chest, and tried to assure the crowd and everybody else that he was okay. The pain in his arm was intense, but he figured that the show must go on. He assured the staff he was alright, while he ignored the prickling feeling at the back of his eyes from pain and embarrassment, and continued to perform like the idol he was.

The other four seemed to get over it as fast as it happened, but he noticed that Jin kept sending little glances his way, seemingly worried. Kame thought that he had done a good a good job at hiding the pain he was obviously feeling with energy, but not as well as he thought. He could hardly dance normally, since there were sharp pains running through his arm every time he even tried to move it. He went through the remainder of the concert as best as he could, but it seemed useless. He was just in too much pain.
“Suck it up,” he told himself quietly. “It’s almost over…”

-

After the long concert had ended, Kame had felt relieved that he was finally able to relax, and maybe get his arm checked out by a doctor. After everyone else had left, Kame thought he was the only one left in the dressing room. He laid back on the couch, flinching as he tried to stretch out his injured shoulder.
“Damn…” he muttered to himself. “How could I have been so stupid?”
“That’s what I was wondering,” a voice said from the doorway. Kame whipped around to face the voice, only to regret it when the pain intensified. He was surprised to see Jin still there, leaning against the doorway.
“Shut up,” Kame said halfheartedly, flinching as he tried to adjust his position. Not only was his arm killing him, but his entire body was sore.

He felt tears burning at the back of his eyes, feeling embarrassed by the stupidity of the situation. Why had he fallen off the stage again? He thought he learned the lesson after the first time it happened. He hung his head, not wanting Jin to see the tears that had started slowly rolling down his face. He would be even more embarrassed if any another member had seen him cry; especially if it was Jin. He didn’t even have any reason to be crying, which made it even more embarrassing.
“Kazuya, are you really okay?” Jin asked. Kame didn’t notice him walk into the room, and carefully sit down next to him on the couch.
“Just peachy,” Kame snapped sarcastically. “You should try falling off the stage every once in a while, it’s totally fun.”

The tears started running faster, and Kame used his good hand to wipe them away, not looking at his group mate. Jin took Kame’s chin in his hand, forcing him to look at him.
“Calm down,” Jin said in a demanding, yet soft voice. Kame stiffened as Jin raised his hand towards his face. Kame was shocked when Jin tenderly brushed stray tears off his face with his thumb. Jin took Kame in his arms carefully. He felt the continuous burning in the back of his eyes, and his tears were flowing onto Jin’s shirt. They sat in silence like that for a little while, Kame trying to calm himself down and stop crying while Jin just sat there, rubbing absent-minded patterns into his back. Despite their not-so-great relationship in the past, Kame felt comfortable; almost grateful that Jin was there to comfort him, rather than any other of the members.  There was something about this situation that just felt good, almost like it felt right.

Kame drew back, wiping away the remainder of the tears. Jin stared at him, sympathy in his gaze.
“You know, it isn’t even a big deal,” Jin said, leaning back on the sofa. “There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, it was an accident. As long as you’re okay, that’s all that matters; it’s probably the only thing the fans care about, and of course the others wouldn’t tease you about it.” Kame sighed, knowing that Jin was right.
“But what if it’s not true?” Kame retorted quietly. “Even if what you said is right, this is something that people will remember!”
“Does that really matter though?” Jin pointed out. “Even if they do remember it, it’s not like this’ll make us lose fans or anything.” Kame couldn’t put up an argument. “Just be sure to get that arm checked out.”
“Thanks Jin,” he said in a quiet voice. Jin nodded, gave him a side hug, being careful of Kame’s arm. He stood up in the midst of stretching.
“But you know, you did look kind of funny falling off the stage,” Jin teased with a smirk, before turning around. Kame took one of the couch pillows, and chucked it at Jin’s retreating form, hitting him straight in the head. Jin laughed, turning to face Kame.
“If you weren’t injured you’d be in for it,” he threatened playfully. Kame smiled.
“I’d like to see you try,” he said with a smirk.
“Oh trust me, you wouldn’t,” Jin responded, dead-panning before cracking a smile.
“I have to go now, feel better Kazuya,” he turned to leave again.
“Jin?” Kame paused.
“Yeah?”
“Is it possible that you couldn’t tell the others about this?” Kame asked hesitantly. Jin smiled almost warmly.
“No worries, it’s our little secret.”
