Title: Date Night
Pairing: Matsumiya
Rating: PG-13

Genre: Summary: Filled prompt from fic meme ( link to prompt).  Arashi played a game, the loser and the winner must date for a day. Nino loses and Jun won. Nino had to dress up a girl for their date. Nino tried to annoy Jun by playing the clingy girlfriend role. They accidentally bumped into various people they know.

“Should we go help him?” Aiba asked, worry colouring his tone. Sho looked hesitant, and Ohno just shook his head. Aiba flinched as he saw the man yank on Nino’s arm quite hard.
“Oh look, there’s Jun!” Sho exclaimed, pointing towards a vaguely familiar figure. He walked to the place he left Nino, carrying two cups of something. They could tell the surprise and wonder that he was feeling when he saw that Nino was no longer there. Aiba bit his lip as Jun looked around.

“Jun doesn’t see them!” He whined, watching as the mentioned man spun around, looking all over. Sho was beginning to look hesitant as well.
“Maybe we should go help him,” Sho said uncertainly. Ohno shook his head again.
“No, I think they will figure this out and we don’t want to get out cover blown.” Aiba began moving towards the direction Nino and the man was going, trying not to get spotted. Seeing his best friend being dragged away by a drunk man unwillingly, unable to fight back, it was unnerving and Aiba wanted to help.
“Wait, why doesn’t Nino just yell for help?” Sho asked suddenly, still watching them. Aiba didn’t have an answer to that.
“Maybe within the fear of the situation, he just didn’t consider it,” Ohno suggested, following after Aiba. They watched as Jun just stood there, silently urging him to actually look around and go find Nino. He seemed to just want to wait.

Suddenly there was a loud cry. They couldn’t tell what the voice had said, but they knew it was Nino’s. (even though he was still using his girl voice.) Aiba sighed in relief when Jun perked up, looking around for the source of the noise. When he found it, he started making his way quickly towards the noise. He must’ve spotted them, because he suddenly broke out into a full out run. As soon as Jun reached them, there were loud voices shouting things that they didn’t understand, and the three of them could no longer see what was happening because of a large crowd that had gathered around to watch, blocking their view. Sho cursed under his breath, trying to get a better angle.

“I’m starting to wish I had popcorn,” Sho mumbled, staring. There was a sudden noise of skin on skin contact, and moments later Jun pushed his way through the crowd, dragging a visibly shaken looking Nino behind him.
“What happened?” Aiba asked, feeling relieved if anything.
“I think Jun punched him,” Ohno answered, trying to get a better look. He was proved right when the crowd diminished, and they saw the drunk guy; rolling around on the ground and clutching at his nose. Sho let out a short chuckle, his eyes no longer on the pair.

“I hope he’s okay,” Aiba said quietly, not taking his eyes off of them. They didn’t seem to be talking, and Jun led him to sit down on a nearby bench.
“I can’t hear what they’re saying!” Sho whined slightly. Ohno shook his head and shushed him.
“We can’t exactly get much closer without being caught.”

--

“Are you okay?” Jun finally asked after sitting in silence for the longest time. Nino took a deep breath, and nodded.
“Yeah, if you had come any later you would’ve seen me beating the snot out of him,” he said with a weak smirk. Jun could tell he was shaken by the incident, and he understood why. What kind of man gets drunk in the middle of the day and grabs a man, probably planning to do something bad? He did look like a woman, but that was no excuse. Jun frowned, looking at Nino.
“Are you sure? He was being pretty rough there.”
“I’m fine Jun,” he insisted. “I should have punched him or something.” He laughed slightly, rubbing at his arms. He frowned again, not knowing what to say. He stood up.
“Come on, we should go somewhere else.” Jun lightly grabbed Nino’s arm to pull him up, surprised when the other pulled back, hissing in pain. Jun pulled back in surprise.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, feeling concerned. Nino shook his head.
“Nothing, I’m fine,” he replied, still rubbing at his arm.
“Let me see your arm,” Jun demanded softly. Nino stood up, shaking his head.
“Jun its fine.”
“Nino,” Jun said warningly, grabbing his arm again. Jun lifted the sweater arm, only to see an angry red mark around his forearm. It would surely leave a bad bruise. Nino pulled back, pulling the arm back down.
“It’s not a big deal Jun, he just grabbed me too tight,” Nino stated firmly, as though the topic was over. Jun felt a rush of anger towards that man, wishing he could do a little more damage than punching him. Who did that anyway? Jun took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself.

He kind of blamed himself. In a way, he was responsible for Nino. He felt responsible for it, and he wished he hadn’t of left him alone. He realized it was probably over-protective of him in a way, but somehow he couldn’t help it. He didn’t know why he was feeling this way though; almost as if Nino was his actual girlfriend. He shook the thought away, and sighed.
“Come on, let’s go,” Jun said softly, grabbing Nino’s hand. The other nodded slightly, and followed him.

--

Nino felt quite embarrassed, and grateful to Jun for helping him. That was a horrible situation that Nino would have preferred didn’t happen. What he hated most that he felt so helpless against the drunken man. It was almost as if he was paralyzed by fear, unable to resist. Nino sighed to himself, figuring he was probably over-reacting. He followed Jun silently, wondering where they were going when something occurred to him.
“Jun, didn’t you leave your car at the mall?” He asked. Jun groaned slightly.
“I didn’t realize that, but yes I think he did.” He let out a sigh. “Okay let’s go back.” Nino nodded, laughing slightly at his stupidity.

They walked in complete silence, just enjoying each other’s presence. Nino smiled slightly; maybe Aiba’s board game wasn’t such a bad thing after all. He was somewhat glad that it was Jun that had won, and not Ohno or Sho. Going on a date with them like that would just be completely awkward; but somehow with Jun it was comfortable. He started to wonder when his feelings had turned around; maybe it was when he kissed Jun, even if his intention was to make his ex-boyfriend jealous.

It didn’t take them long to get back to the mall parking lot, and Jun’s car. He unlocked it as Nino looked around, waiting anxiously to get out of the cold. Something he spotted made him stop in his tracks.
“Jun,” Nino began, then pausing.
“Yeah?”
“Isn’t that Leader’s car?” He asked uncertainly, pointing at a car a few rows down. Jun followed Nino’s gaze with a puzzled expression.
“I think it is,” he mumbled slightly, going to inspect closer. “The licence plate is even the same, but why is he here?”
“Oh don’t tell me,” Nino groaned slightly. Jun sent him a questioning look.
“They’re probably spying on our date,” Nino hissed. He should have figured, it was a punishment game after all.
“Do you think all of them are here?” Jun asked quietly.
“Probably,” Nino nodded. “They most likely wanted to make sure we actually went through with it.”
“I was actually expecting that,” Jun admitted. Nino nodded again, spinning around when he saw something suspicious.
“I think I see them,” he whispered, tugging on Jun’s arm. He was certain he had just seen three shadowy figures trying to hide by the parking lot entrance.
“What, where?” Jun asked, looking around wildly.
“Don’t look!” Nino hissed, tugging on his arm again. Jun looked down at Nino, suddenly smirking.
“What?” He stuttered slightly, feeling heated under the younger man’s gaze. He didn’t understand why, but he was starting to feel nervous.
“How about we give them a show they won’t likely forget?” He proposed suggestively. Nino felt his face heating up, unsure about Jun’s implications.
“What do you mean Jun?” His heart rate accelerated as Jun leaned in closer. Nino felt Jun’s hot breath on his face briefly, before the younger’s lips met his own.

Nino tried hard to convince himself that Jun was only doing this to spite the others, but he found it somewhat difficult to form coherent thoughts with the other man’s tongue in his mouth.  He sighed slightly, trying to get as close to him as possible, craving the heat. It did cross his mind that they were making out in a mall parking lot of all places, and he didn’t really care either. It might have been a good thing that Nino was dressed as a girl, consider they probably would have gotten even more disgusted looks from people passing by. This situation just seemed all too weird; one second Jun was rescuing him from a drunken man, and the next they were making out. What were the chances of that?

Nino didn’t know how long it had lasted, but he couldn’t help but whine slightly when Jun pulled back. He shivered at the sudden chill in the air and lack of warmth, looking up at the other man. His face was red, but he seemed otherwise unaffected by the kiss, while Nino was left gasping for breath. They stood in silence for what seemed like the longest time, just staring at each other. In reality it was probably only about two minutes, but it had felt longer. Suddenly Nino felt his impulses taking over, as he leant back towards Jun, crushing their lips together with a great force. He made a small noise a surprise, but he didn’t pull back. He was quick to gain access to the other’s mouth, and their tongues started battling for dominance yet again.

Nino had never expected something like this to happen, no matter what the situation. Perhaps he held some sort of feelings for the younger man, but he didn’t know that kissing him would feel so good. When Nino had first found out about the date, he had mixed feelings. Part happiness at the fact that it was Jun he got to go out with, and partially anger because of the fact he had lost, and had to dress up as the girl. Despite the whole situation, Nino really enjoyed it. Jun moaned slightly as Nino bit down on his lower lip. Nino smirked, running his hands through Jun’s hair. Even though he didn’t want to, Nino pulled back abruptly, leaving Jun breathless. Now that was the reaction I wanted, Nino thought, smirking to himself.
“Do you think that’s good enough?” He asked innocently, as Jun squirmed uncomfortably.
“Yeah probably,” he said, trying to gain control back over his breathing.
“Should we go?”
“Sure.”

--

None of them could take their eyes off of the scene in front of them. Nino climbed into the passenger side of Jun’s car as Jun climbed in the driver seat. Aiba felt his face growing hot during that, and he had no idea why. Seeing them making out like that…that was just too weird.
“Wait, do you think they saw us?” Sho asked after a long silence.
“Why are you thinking about that now?!” Ohno exclaimed. “They were just making out, Jun and Nino were making out, and that’s what you’re thinking of?”
“Wait hear me out,” Sho began. “Maybe they knew we were here, and they just did that to confuse us or something.” Aiba considered this. As unlikely as it seemed, he had a point. Aiba didn’t think that Jun and Nino would just start making out like that for no reason.
“Oh shit, where did they go?” Ohno asked, peeking around the corner. Aiba looked as well, and his car was already gone. Sho swore under his breath.
“Let’s get back to your car Oh-chan, maybe we can catch up!” Aiba suggested.
“We should just leave them,” he sighed. “We have no idea where they would have gone, and it probably won’t be easy to find out. They went on the date; can’t we just be happy with that?” Aiba looked unsure, but Sho nodded.
“I guess you’re right.” Aiba sighed. “They’re probably just going home anyway.”
“Exactly,” Ohno replied, patting Aiba’s arm with a smile.
“We should just go home,” Sho said, defeated.
“Yeah, let’s go.”

They followed Ohno back to his car in silence, reflecting on the day. Even though Aiba had not experienced it, he could easily say that it was one hell of a date. Aiba couldn’t help but grin, realizing how his game had brought them together.

--

“I can’t wait to go home and change,” Nino complained, as Jun drove him home. Jun smiled.
“Well if it means anything, I think you make a very pretty girl.” Nino let out a laugh, taking the wig off.
“I don’t know if that’s a good thing.”
“It could be,” Jun laughed. They fell silent again; the only noise was the traffic around them. Jun’s mind went back to that kiss in the parking lot, and the one before in the mall. He had to admit, it had made him feel good, but confused. He had only kissed Nino because the others were there; or at least that’s what he thought. He hadn’t expected Nino to kiss him again; and he really hadn’t expected to enjoy it as much as he did. He smiled to himself, remembering the feeling of Nino’s warm lips on his own. He fantasized back to the feeling of Nino’s tongue tangling with his own…
“Jun watch the road!” Nino said loudly, bringing him out of his thoughts.
“Shit,” he swore, slamming on the breaks to avoid hitting the car in front of them at a stop sign. Nino looked at him, wide-eyed. He had to admit, Nino looked kind of funny without the wig; his short black hair in a mess and make-up still on.
“What the hell are you doing?” He complained. “You like completely zoned out for a minute there!” Jun felt his face heating up as he shook his head.
“It was nothing,” he lied. If Nino had known what he was actually thinking, he probably wouldn’t live it down. Nino had probably even kissed him that second time just to screw with his mind or something; he was probably thinking too much into it.
“Sorry,” he added as a quick afterthought. Nino sighed and shook his head.
“You can be a real idiot sometimes.” Jun pouted.
“That might be true, but you are just as much as me,” he pointed out; disappointed to realize they had already arrived at Nino’s house. He pulled up to the side of the road so Nino could get out.
“Well I had fun today,” Nino smiled at him. Jun smiled back.
“Yeah, I did too.”
“Do you think maybe…?” Nino began, hesitating. Jun looked at him, waiting for him to finish the sentence. “Do you think that maybe we could do it again?” He asked, turning bright red.
“Sure, I would love that Kazu,” he replied with a big smile. Nino grinned, something like relief on his face.
“I don’t have to dress up as a girl do I?” He asked suddenly, in the middle of exiting the car. Jun laughed.

“No you don’t have to, but it might be fun,” he replied with a wink. Nino turned red, and uttered a quick goodbye before shutting the car door.
“I’m going out with Nino again,” Jun said to himself, biting his lip with a smile. Before driving home, Jun decided to send a quick text to Aiba.

Message from Matsumoto to Aiba: Thanks for choosing that punishment game. It could not have been better. J

It was no lie either; the best punishment game ever.
