1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
Okay, I'll try to make this short. My great grandmother's name was Catharine, but I believe it was spelled with a K instead of the latter which is how mine is spelled. My mom also new a girl in college whose name was Catharine Courtenay and my mom loved it, so viola I became Catharine Courtenay Cody, otherwise known as Courtenay (which my mom liked better of the two).

2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
The only name I have is for a boy and that's Tristan (which also could go for a girl). I also like Ciaran and other Irish names I can't think of right now. Not sure for a girl maybe another Irish name or something New Zealandish (of which I think my spelling of Courtenay is coincidentally). I'm not big family names. "Maybe" I'll use one for a middle name, but I just don't get the re-using of names. If you're at a reunion and you call out Frank I wouldn't want 40 males to turn around. (Frank however is not a family name, it just came into my head.)

3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
I think it would've been Christopher, so the C would remain.

4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
Re-name myself are you CRAZY!!! I actually really love my name. It isn't very common that I can tell, it's spelled funky and New Zealandy, and it seems to fit me perfectly.

5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
How to begin this. Of course since mine is spelled differently so I get Courtney, Courtnay, Kortny, Cortney, Courteny, and I once got Counterey (I don't know how). I also get misspellings for Catharine and get called Cody by A LOT of people. Not sure why. Do I look like a boy or a golden retreiver?? Mispronunciations vary as well. I usually have to listen out for 3 different names which can be confusing.
