What a week!!!

So, Monday I find out that my car title was changed from my dad's name to mine. How long ago this happened I don't know. "Someone" lost the paperwork and so my car title never made it to me, besides the fact that I filled out this title change 3 years and 3 apartments ago. I found out it was sitting unclaimed at the state office. Now it is being sent to me. Then I found out that I had an invalid tag, because it was registered in my dad's name. So, I've basically been driving around for months and many miles without a tag and would've been in big trouble had I gotten pulled over. I also realized that I had to get an emissions test, which you don't have to do in Glynn County. So I had to come in late to work on Tuesday so I could be there first thing to get my new tag. Well, after 30 days you get fined for not registering your car when you move to a new county/state or transfer the title. Lord knows how much that could be. Well, I was getting reimbursed for that for sure. It wasn't my fault I wasn't told the title had changed. I get there as soon as the office opened and it only took me 10 minutes. I was shocked. I also wasn't charged any fines. I got this really nice girl, and (schwew) and bit of luck.
Then I went to the doctor on Wednesday for my second post op. They always spray this stuff up my nose to open it up so he can get a good look. I still have a little bit of infection up there, so he decided to give me a stronger antibiotic. I am allergic to a lot of medications, but I had taken this medication 2 months ago and had been fine. I got back to work and ate something to take the medicine. I started sneezing and thought it was just from the nose spray because it always bothers me. Then my eyes started getting red and after about an hour and a half they were so red it looked like they were about to burst with blood. Then my rib cage and mid-back started hurting, and I couldn't breath except for short shallow breaths because it hurt too much. I decided to call the doctors office and they told me to get some Claritin and Benadryl (or an anti-histamine) and take it immediately and go straight to the emergency room because my throat could close up. I was still at work at this point. I stood up and asked if anyone had an anti-histamine and then started crying. I couldn't help it, I was so scared. So they asked what was wrong and I told them I needed a ride to the emergency room. You could clearly tell that something was really wrong with me. So I got a ride to the emergency care unit not too far from my house. (I couldn't even remember where one was). I stopped by Publix to get the medicine and got very strange looks from everyone since I basically looked like I was o.d.'ing. When I got to the place I thought I would have to wait, but when I went to sign in they looked at me, said "oh my god" and took me straight back. They gave me a steroid shot (luckily in my hip), and let me lay back there for a while, but I couldn't get comfortable because my back was very sore because my muscles had constricted. I had a friend who was coming to pick me up, but she gets off work later and I didn't know when she would be there. Even though I was still hurting, I was breathing better so I asked if I could go to the waiting room to call my friend and see how long she would be. Luckily she was turning into the parking lot, but I could hardly walk. I just wanted to go home. I had to go to Eckerd's to fill a prescription for steroids to take for 3 days. It took like 30 minutes. I finally got home at about 8pm and ate something and then layed down in my bed. I didn't brush my teeth, take a shower, or anything. And those of you who know me well know something was really wrong. I'm very ocd. I couldn't sleep, even on the insane amounts of Benadryl so I was up until 3 in the morning, also because my back was really hurting still. I was going to try to go to work the next day if I felt up to it because we were really busy and I didn't need to lose the money, but I had no car because I couldn't drive it home and it was still at work. So someone came and picked me up at lunch time. So I only had to work a half day which was probably better for me anyway, healthwise. My back was also feeling much better thank god!! The doctor prescribed and new antibiotic for me yesterday and I took the first of it today, so far so good, but please pray to whatever god you choose that I don't have an allergic reaction to it!!!
Then, my apartment complex called me and asked if I was ever going to pay my rent for the month of July. Um, I took it in and handed it to (I even knew the girls name) on June 30th. They said they would look for it and call me back. So now I'm thinking "great, I have to pay for a stop payment on two checks (we pay water and rent to the complex) because these dumbasses can't keep up with my checks". I called my bank and the checks hadn't cleared. The complex called me back and said they couldn't find them, but they would take $70 off my rent to pay for the stop payments. I called the bank and I stopped the checks and they didn't charge me a fee. So yay!! Money off the rent. I still think it's owed to me. Another little side note (you should see how shady this complex is) I come home from work and find a joint someone tried to roll with notebook paper outside my front door. That's comforting. I can't wait to get out of this place. So pretty shitty week except for the no fines for the tag and getting a discount on the rent, but all in all I think I'm ready to put this week behind me. Hopefully I'll have happier tiding to write about next time.
