I haven't written poetry consistently in a long time, and recently I wrote a gaming moodpost in free verse. So, my interest has been revived! I finished a first rewrite - huzzah! - and I think I know where to go when I start the next bit, which will make a second rewrite of the first bit easier, I think.  This pleases me greatly, and I hope the results please you . . . whoever it is that reads this stuff.  =D

Just for my own clarity as I rewrite, I'm going to put my answer to these here.

Everything seems normal on the baby front, which is a relief especially since insurance and doctor visits didn't happen until halfway through the bloody pregnancy.  I'm guessing the due date is going to be pushed back by a couple weeks, at least, unless it's standard procedure now to do ultrasounds earlier than they did with the girls I've already ( Read more... )

OMG WHY DO I HATE EVERYTHING I'M WRITING RIGHT NOW

Oh yeah, because I waited until the last minute to prep for a writers' workshop co-headed by an author I idolize.  Silly me.  Still, maybe I can do it!

I don't understand the Sims 2 fan/custom content world's vendetta against normal male hair.  If every boy I saw looked like some kind of emo-goth freak, I swear, I'd go on a homicidal rampage.  Or maybe just play the Smiths really loud and point and laugh while they all committed suicide.  I like the punk stuff!  I even like the occasional emo-goth ( Read more... )
