[Action&Video]

[Not one too fall into the same routine for too long, today was a day where he wanted to shake things up. With Luceti Land ending just a few days ago, Red was pretty bored and the recreation centre wasn't cutting it. At least, it was without his friends. Lazily flipping through the journals in hopes of seeing a familiar face, his ( Read more... )

[ Just have a curiously staring headmaster looking at you and your pikachu. ] Pokemon? There's nothing like that in my world. Ah, only if you count mythological creatures. [ A smile. ]

As for that question. [ He hums on his end. What to choose, what to choose. There's a small frown as he contemplates an answer. ] It's rather hard to choose one thing. Perhaps the cultures and myths that comprise nations and people as a whole.

[Pikachu will just blink curiously back; it was its first time seeing what the journal was capable of, after all.]

I haven't been able to find someone that has. [He laughs.] Mythological creatures, huh? Can't say I know a lot about 'em, though I have seen all sorts of Pokémon before. Some even come from fossils.

[This time, he pauses. It takes him a bit to digest what Helios says, though it doesn't even take him a fraction of that to formulate a response.]

Heh, I know what you mean! The way things work here is a lot different from back at home. Luceti's real different from what I'm used to.

That's a shame. But perhaps you could teach everyone about them. They're rather cute. [ And he smiles eyes looking over at Pikachu. ] Yes that's correct! Are there any pokemon that have legends based around them? If so, that's basically what mythologies are. Creatures that are born and put into legends. They come in all shapes and sizes. They tend to be on the...obscure and unknown side of things though. [ not in his world but...other versions of it. ] Certainly like your pokemon in a way.

[ He looks curious at that last point. Fossils? ] Really? Fossils, like bones you mean? That's rather intriguing. How does that work exactly? Ah, if you know, I mean. [ He is rubbing his chin in intrigue. ]

Luceti is different from many a person's world. Even people who are somewhat...familiar with the supernatural.

Not all of 'em are this tiny, though. Well, sure, most start off this tiny but some of 'em grow huge! [Panning the camera around, it'll stop to concentrate on a his Venusaur.]

It's easy to forget that he started off just as small as Pika. [Another chuckle, as a light bulb goes off on his head.]

There actually are a couple of legends surrounding 'em, actually! Most of the legends are about rarer Pokémon called legendary; Pokémon like Pika and Saur are common compared to 'em, since there's only one of each legendary. They're supposed to be stronger than all the other Pokémon, in fact... There's one living in Luceti right now.

I don't know all that much about 'em, to be honest, but I bet if the professor ever came he could tell you about 'em for hours. I had a rock with me at some point, and then some machine just resurrected it into a flying dinosaur. [he shrugs at this, it's completely normal in his book if not way cool.]

Huh -- by supernatural... You mean things like ghosts, right? [He scratches his head.] Is that what you're ( ... )

[ Helios eyes clearly and visibly widen at the sight of Venusaur. He's never encountered anything like that before in his life, and that is truly a feat. ] No. Really? That's amazing the size difference is...well, it's very apparent.

Ah. So legends do exist in your world then. [ He blinks. ] There is? [ Oh this very interesting indeed. You might even hear it in his tone. ] Your world sounds rather fascinating, I'll admit. Completely different and yet similar in some cases to my own. But yes. Ghosts are just one of the few things back at my world.

It's kinda like the way you and me grew? [A sheepish laugh.] I'm not really sure how it works, honestly.

[Another pause, before:] Pokémon happen to come in all sorts of types, and some of 'em are ghosts. I've never had one on me, but I have seen a whole bunch.

And what do you mean by one of the few things? [Red's honestly curious, so hopefully Helios won't mind the questions.]

Oh it's fine. But either way it sounds fascinating.

[ There is a glint of curiosity in his eye. ] Ghosts too? Amazing. I assume they have a distinctive shape and form... [ So very intriguing why did he never ask about these things before? And Helios never minds when it comes to discussing such things. ]

Well different people in my world have different...versions of similar things. Dragons, angels, demons, and even ghosts. There's literally...tons of them in my world all unique in there own sort of way.

If the professor ever comes to Luceti, I could put him to your direction if you'd like. He studies 'em for a living, so he'd know way more than me for sure.

I used to have a dex with me, and it would record all the Pokémon I encounter. I'm not sure if Gold or Silver has 'em, but if they do I'll show you what they look like. They're not the kinda ones with blankets over 'em, though, normal attacks just go through.

[He's not much of an expert, dealing more in the battling field, but he doesn't mind talking about them at all either.]

There are dragons in my world too. [Red adds, once Helios is done with his sentence.] Haven't ever seen an angel or demon before, though. [He scratches his head, mildly curious.]

Ha fascinating. There must be a lot to need something like that.

[ Helios' eyebrow raises. ] Is that right? Dragons in your world too then. Lots of places seem to have them, now that I think about it. But angels and demons... [ Hm. ]

They're usually human like in form but they have wings. [ Something like the Third Party actually. ]

He's been studying them his whole life, and he isn't anywhere near done. I don't think I could ever do something like that, staying in one place for that long.

[Red laughs at the thoguht of that, unable to imagine hismelf doing son.] Yeah, they come in all shapes and sizes. None of the guys here have 'em though, since they are pretty rare.

[Another pause, as he processes this information.]

Kinda like how we are right now, then? [They had wings, after all.]

Always something new and intriguing to figure out. [ He knows how that goes. Never know a dull moment and yet never fully have all the information you need. ] Ah, so you like to travel then? You must do it rather often. Terribly sorry you have to be stuck here of all places.

[ Helios nods on his end. ] That's correct! Angels are often times shown with human forms and large wings. Though that's not usually their true forms. Many people think angels cannot be seen by humans in their true forms simply out of sheer power they possess.

Travelling and battling are like a part of my name! It's not so bad when I had the last one at least, but it's still getting pretty boring. The fact that my whole team here really sucks, too. [For a moment, he droops before picking himself back up.]

... That sounds extremely cool! You seem to know a lot about 'em. Have you ever seen one before?

Battling? So you use these pokemon to fight then? [ He frowns a little not really being a big fan of it himself. But then again different customs for different worlds. ]

Several actually.

We fight with 'em in battle. It's kind of like a sport, with competitions and all. Not everyone decides to do it though, 'cause you got the researchers, breeders, and everyday people.

[he shrugs, not thinking much of it honestly.]

So are there any like that here?
