While en route to a bird count in Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, it probably isn't a good idea to collide with a bird at 50 mph, and then drive into the parking lot where a crowd of ornithologists, rangers, and birdwatchers are gathered with said bird dangling dead from your grill like some kind of morbid hood ornament.
