He could see all the way down the mountain side. Jagged rocks protruded like the fingers of a great beast, and the sharp obsidian color of the precipice made it seem all the more menacing.

The steep decline however was not what concerned him. His attention sat riveted to the sky. Clouds, blacker than the rocks below him, darker than his cave, had been swirling above for hours. Thunder shattered the otherwise solid silence and bellowed off into the distance before it became a low rumble.

There was no going back. A new day had come.

Not surprisingly his eyes seemed to twinkle, as his lips exposed his teeth in what some would say was undoubtedly a smile.

Now this, would be a challenge.
