On the first full day in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ah-sze-zuki and I discovered Kaka'wa Chocolate House. OH EM GEE! Their hot chocolates are delicious. I bought their Marie Antoinette blend to bring home which is dark chocolate and orange blossom flavors. I was tempted to buy more flavors when I went back on my last full day with K*, but did not because I talked with Tony (the owner? the president?) of the company and he said that he's currently planning on opening a second location in Salem, Massachusetts!
... But it won't happen until the spring.
While I was in Santa Fe, the Boston MOS youtube channel finally uploaded the last Gastropod live event. (Four weeks my ass. That was more like 6 months.) I've been stalking the Museum of Science for this because I had trouble hearing and remembering the chocolate company suggestions.
I've had Taza chocolate plenty of times, but the ones I need to track down are:
https://www.gatecommedesfilles.fr/(I apparently need to hit up Aeronaut brewery for this.)
http://roguechocolatier.com/(As far I can tell, no place sells this locally even though it's a local company. I'll have to order direct.)
