Random Thoughts.
I'm watching The Munsters on video right now and thinking about what to have for lunch. I don't think we have a whole heck of a lot in the fridge but I'll check the freezer to see what we have. I have to do some shopping SOON! The ironic thing is that I WORK IN A GROCERY STORE and I still don't get food shopping done!
Eh, I think I'll go walk down the street and grab a bite after the laundry is finished. Woohoo for finally starting on THAT. This place has been seriously neglected this summer due to work and constantly being on the go with G. and others.
Wemt to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on Wednesday, then stopped at D'Agostino's on Southport for pizza with Marygene, Doris and Janet from the old store. It was good to see them again! I am pretty sure that out of all of us, Doris got the best deal cos she was sent to a solo Jewel and it sounds pretty laid back. I think that combo stores are more strict with their employees but then what would I know?
Yesterday we finally got to go to the zoo, and since we had time constraints we didn't have the time to hunt up and down for a free parking space so we spent $19 to park in the damn zoo lot. Yeah, the zoo is free but they rob you in the parking lot! Another BS from Da Mayor who seems to love to suck the lifeblood out of our city's drivers :|. Ever since Daley came in 20 yrs ago it has gotten EXPENSIVE to do anything by car in the city! ARGH!
After the zoo it was work, then me G. and Mother G. went to the Lincoln Park Whole Foods to get a snack and then Wing Stop for dinner where an old friend is working now :). Well she's only 19 but we knew her for years lol you know what I mean ;).
Well not sure what is on tap for today. I'm gonna try and talk Greg into taking the bus to Horseshoe Casino for dinner and some gambling. If not maybe a movie.
