Catching Up
General Update post....
1) Was melancholy on way to xmas, but chipper now, had a great holiday at Elektras', and in general had a totally awesome holiday with great food, fantastic intellectual conversation, fun people of different backgrounds, and other surprising and enjoyable surprises.
2) Yvonne called me the "Best Step-Mom Ever"
3) Got a cold so spent most of today sleeping it off-- sore throat, that sort of thing. Bleagh. Kvetch Kvetch. I been fighting off a sore throat for over a week. I think the sunny days inspired me to be more active and I just wore myself down so that after the great party on xmas I sorta just crashed. So I'm going with it. Laundry can wait while I recover.
4) heard from a cousin (on dads side) I hadn't heard from in maybe two decades.
5) Created a Death Knight in WoW to power level a new profession in, and enjoying it enough to play it and level it. Now I REALLY gotta figure out who I am gonna play at a time. My Raid Guild with Lyra pretty much thinks I abandoned them but I am just enjoying all my toons right now.
6) Got some lovely loot for the holidays including some nice new clothes, flamingo salt and pepper shakers, scrap booking paper, a Horde Pin, fun snacks of gourmet or fun variety, and other fun little treats.
7) saw a pirated copy of the new Who episode that aired in Britain because a friend sent a copy for us to download. We still plan to get the box set when its released, but We really wanted to see it as its been long awaited :) Very interesting show.....they are certainly making it memorable, and if you have seen or read about it, you understand these cryptic remarks.
Gonna go try to stay up a while, then gonna crash yet again I think.
