The landlord asked me to take him to the airport tonight. He gave me a bundle of asparagus, so how can I refuse? Asparagus is like Nazi gold to me, in that I eat it every day while it is in season. I've also discovered a new 2nd favorite drink - Kiwi tea with aloe chunks. Sounds disgusting, but it's really good.
I'm trying to cut down on coffee fixin's at work. I'm taking away a few grains of sugar every day, so gradually that I won't even notice when I'm down to nothing. After that, the Silk Creamer will go away, and then the coffee. I hope to be drinking an empty cup by June of 2011, when the oil runs out and the messiah returns, whichever version you prefer.
If anyone is looking for an interesting book, I cannot recommend
Pop Co. (which
goldenmoonbear encouraged me to read) highly enough. It's essentially about the evils of (British) corporate culture, but it's also about cryptanalysis (code breaking), veganism, mathematics, time travel, the English countryside, bird sanctuaries, crossword puzzles, sticking it to the man, video games and anything else that people on my friendslist are interested in.
