Vietnamese New Year's resolution #3:
I will no longer observe the traditional date numbering system. From now on I will refer to this year as the year 20 A.K.G, or After Krush Groove. Anything before 1986 will now be notated as B.K.G. For instance, the classic graffiti art film Wild Style (which my brother gave me for Christmas) was unleashed upon America in the year 4 B.K.G., a full 4 years before the birth of Krush Groove. It had no plot, no script and very little acting but it did feature amazing performances by Grandmaster Flash and Fab Five Freddy.
