Try not to disturb the eels

I've noticed that in Europe, the little guy who tells you when you can cross the street is green, the universal color for "go". In America he's white. I take this to mean that only the white man is allowed to cross the street. I think I'm going to write to my congress-people and ask to have this situation dealt with at great taxpayer expense. Zaphod in the movie annoyed the crap out of me, but in my mind that means they did their job. The more I think about the movie after having seen it, the more I like it, so I think I need to go again.

Speaking of Zaphod, did you see this this? It's pretty funny. Vote for Stupid.

I can't wait until Scott and I get to kill each other. I didn't even bother picking up that Aimee Mann album because I know it will sound exactly like the past two and anger me.

If their job is bad acting, then yes, although he didn't annoy me as much as our actual earth president.

I still like the BBC version better.

I will be going through SF tonight on my way to Marin. Let me know if you require my services.

That would be great if I could get a ride up yonder. I was planning to just take the bus up there in the morning but your services would be much appreciated.

Also, interesting things you say about Aimee Mann.

I remember reading some book about how Chairman Mao once tried to make red mean "go" on Chinese traffic lights, and have everyone drive on the left side of the street. It didn't work out very well, though, so he eventually had to change it back.

I guess so? It's been a long time since I read that, so I don't exactly remember the details.
