Good morning, Cougar Ridge!
We had an incident of the "No Direct Consequences" rule being compromised this morning. The post in question has been deleted, but I would like to mention something about the mechanics for it. I would prefer that the request for a post being deleted come from the GM - or me, as it were. This way we can avoid things like post counts being off, causing posts to be deleted because of it. Also, I would like to have some say in it, so that if someone posts something perfectly reasonable, they don't get asked to delete it just because another character doesn't like it.
We have some new characters to welcome this week: Angela Popescu, Janice Coulie, Kelli Hert, Luke Harrington. Thom Jacoby has come back from his vacation. We're also saying good-bye to a few: Chris Anderson, Farah and Fiona Clothilde, and Kevin Brunner. Cole Jackson, Gina Rose, Lea Drevnak, and Noah Harrison all have until the next episode is posted tonight to state their intentions, or they'll be fair game for whatever evil plans I have in mind. We're also having a couple characters go into semi-retirement: Charles Bettman and Helena Baxtor. Let me know if I missed anyone!
The pre-Spring Festival treasure hunt will start with tonight's episode. There will be a prize basket (in game, of course) with things like gift certificates for the Market and La Pizza Piazza. If your business would like to contribute something, please let me know, but don't go over $100. We don't want the winner to have to claim it on their income taxes!
