maggie's recovery is like lightning. her leg was only ever a little bit swollen and now it's mostly normal - it's not even red around the staples. her gait is good and she's using the leg at about 75%. this morning, we walked around the island, and then up and down the street. she would like to walk farther, she says. knee what? what surgery?

her regular vet called me yesterday to see how she was (the hospital sends them reports), i love that.
