(no subject)
I kinda wish I could put my body on autopilot for awhile and retreat inside my mind. I'd live upstairs in my big head and pull my curtains down and rest and think and make stuff. i'd prolly lounge in my jammies and listen to a lot of music and write stuff. meanwhile, the rest of me could be pumping out homework and planning lessons and grading papers and going to meetings, etc. I don't think I'd invite anybody in, unless by special invitation only, when my ideas got so big that i had to share them with somebody to make sure i was on to something.
I'm going to teach The Little Prince in the spring. Maybe that will let me leave mon corps for a little while and go live on a tiny planet somewhere, where my only responsibility would be to water the roses.
I'm going to buy one of the new iPod shuffles. 2gigs for 70 dollars. yes and yes. then i can carry my music around in my pocket like i used to carry around my My Littlest Pet Shop kitties.
