I was trying to get into a machine at work today and the latch was sticking. So I cranked on it and my hand slipped and my (acrylic) nail broke off, making it about half the length it was. Didn't even notice it until I was out of the machine. I'm forever smacking my hands and knuckles on crap at that job, so I didn't think anything of the stinging pain.

I'm sure some tech is going to open that machine up at some point and see it and be like "What the hell?"
