Wow. Today was my first awesome day for a very long time. Not suprisingly though, because I spent it with awesome people! I met up downtown with Heather and her sis, Tracy, whom I met for the first time. She's as great as I thought she would be...of course...she's a Leo ;) I FINALLY gave Heather her presents...never got so many hugs for a present before! I guess she was pleased. She is soooo easy to shop for! We then head out to a craft sale on Kent street. But it took longer than we expected to get there because we got caught in a uber long procession from St. Patrick's Church. I've never seen one before so it was kinda cool to see people of all ages and culture united in love. Unsurprisingly, a particularly "illuminated" old lady urged us to ask for Jesus's blessing. As much as I wanted to run to the shrine and cry "Save me Jebus!" I decided against it. It's wise not to upset a religious mob, you know? :) So, forever later, we get to the craft sale and it was awesome! Here are the things that I got...sorry the pics are so big! I don't know what photobucket does to them!:

Blue potery mug (I have a mug fetish) and goat milk soap

a lovely pair of wood earrings with a little sharovki crystal

and a wrap around necklace

I look like I have short hair on that pic! Makes me look kinda dyckey. :S

Spoils!

We then left to go meet Lis and Ryan (Heathers' "peeps") to The Tea Party. It's a really nice place...tea as far as the eye can see! Yar! We got High Tea! I'm no longer a High Tea Virgin! Of course we had our tea cold. It was good. High tea comes with a plate of little cute sandwiches and little desert squares. I never knew cucumber and cream cheese was sooo good! We got into a conversation regarding life on Mars and got real dirty looks from the old guy behind us. But I think I'm the only one who noticed. Interestingly, our waitress told me to come by again so we could chat! Haha. 'Tis funny. But she said we would talk about visiting Ireland, so I'm all for that! We then headed out to rideau and parted ways. So here are pictures of the fun. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics of Lis and Ryan because I thought it might come off as a little wierd: "Hi! We just met! Can a take a picture of you?" No. Instead, I just took pics of their backsides...*facepalm*

When we first met at the mall!

Heather, you're not really good at taking pics...you're fired! :) just kiddin' My camera is stupid!
