Well, a lot of neat stuff happened lately. I don't even really know how to jolt it all down. Okay, I KNOW how but I'm too lazy. So there, how about point form entry!
1. got a bunch of beads from Firemountaingems. I mainly got natural beads like shells and wood. Must start making jewelry soon!
2. James came over yesterday to take some pics of my jewelry. I'll put some of them up on yahoo sometime soon.
3. James introduced me to Dollfie dolls (ball jointed customizable anime-ish dolls). They seem to be all the rage in the geek world ;) The average doll costs $550 US. My point is that they are very beautiful and I downloaded a bunch of their photos to practice drawing faces. I want to get into drawing again.
4. James gave me a slow cooker because he had two! Yay!
5. Mother's Day party at my parents was nice. Apparently the "girls" are to go on a weekend trip to Merrickville sometime in June.
6. My niece/godchild, Megan, is turning 6 on the 20th. I asked her what she wants for her B-day and all she would say was "Baby Bratz!!!!" *rolls eyes* My sister laughed because she knows I hate these little sluts they're trying to pass off as toys for little girls. I absolutely refuse to offer those things as a gift to a child. So I made a deal with my sis. She had already bought a jewelry box for Megan. She asked me to buy the Bratz for her and I would offer Meg the jewelry box. Sounds good to me. I can make her some jewelry to go with the box!
7. I just learned that my bro and Pascale are getting MARRIED! *shits a brick* I'm so happy! I was pissed that no one in my family told me so. Everybody else knew 2 weeks ago. (Well my sis was also out of the loop for a while and accidently learnt about it from a co-worker.) I yelled at my family for being so crappy at communication. Apparently though, Pascale sent me an MSN message. But I usually delete those without looking....oups. That'll learn me. They are getting married June 2nd 2007. I'm dying of excitement and happiness.
8. Raph and I have been seriously talking about marriage. We already have a caterer 0_o He told me he was looking at rings and he's thinking about blue tourmaline.... =D
9. I'm going to yoga tomorrow with HEATHER! woo hoo! 'tis going to be fun. I have to figure out what I'll make for supper....prolly veggie teriaky stir fry with rice noodles....sounds good?
10. I was assigned a new job at work. Typically for me, the case is kinda nebulous and we don't really know what we're looking for. Makes me a little nervous. I'm reading a report made by the firm for a related job and I'm totally enjoying it. Wierd. Then again I'm a geek who loves her job.
11. I got my hair cut...but I'm a bit disapointed. The hairdresser didn't style it afterwards so I had no clue what the cut looked like. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice cut with nice movement in it. But not as textured as I wanted it. It's also not as short as I expected it. I was hoping for a transformation but only got a modification. Bleh. For $12, I'll take it! But more lenght means I can play more with my hair next time I get it cut. (Though I'll wait to get split ends). Or maybe I'll cut more off and get more bangs when I dye it. I didn't realize my regrowth was showing soooo much. Crap. Also my psoriasis is flairing up like CRAZY and I scratched my head 'till it bled. Now I'm full of scabs. *sigh*
