What I Want For President

Dec 01, 2008 16:18

I want someone with cancer for president. I want someone who suffered through poverty. I want someone with no health insurance. I want someone who couldn't afford to see a eye doctor or dentist regularly. I want someone who was beatened as a child. I want someone who survived through rape. I want someone without a perfect smile. I want someone who has a attitude. I want someone who will tell me how it is without suger coating it. I want someone who is gay. I want a dyke with a transexual for vice president. I want someone who doesn't indentify as a male or female, but both. I want someone who wasn't born into money and didn't have everything they always wanted. I want someone who had to watch a love one die from a uncureable disease. I want someone who had someone slaughtered unfairly in unneeded war. I want someone who isn't picture perfect. I want someone whose children aren't a poster child. I want someone who has been bashed for their sexuality. I want someone who had to stand in line for hours. I want someone who has been unemployeed and laid off. I want someone who REALLY knows the hardships of life. I want someone who wants to help the country get out of it's hole. I want someone who cross dresses, who has done drugs, or drank themselves into a stupor. I want someone who had to go into therapy for a traumatising event. I want someone who didn't have the happy home growing up. I want someone who was disowned as a child. I want someone who never knew their real parents. And most of all I want to know why this isn't possible. I want to know when our president became a liar and gave us false hope of a new start. I want to know when elections were made to bash your opponent and run them into the ground. I want to know why the president is always the person with the white picket fence life. All I want to know is why.
