I'm making a four-paneled miniskirt, worn at the hips, for my cosplay and I've been through a bunch of free pattern tutorials on the interwebs but they all say something slightly different when it comes to taking top and bottom measurements.  I'm using a stretchy nylon/lycra so I don't need elastic and I definitely don't think I need to use a ( Read more... )

I'm trying to put a collar on a bodysuit and I  just can't figure out how to do it. The picture in the pattern booklet doesn't help or make sense.
I'm using Kwik-Sew pattern #2722.

Help? Pictures or drawings would be great.
And should I  sew the shoulders before putting in the collar?
