Cosplay Help
So my boyfriend and I have finally decided on our last set of costumes for SDCC this year and it's a bit of an undertaking... but nothing too impossible. Somehow, I ended up decided that old school Rogue from X-Men would totally be a good idea. I have a pattern for a full bodysuit, but I've never used it before. I've also never really made anything from a pattern out of two separate fabrics. How can I take one solid pattern and change it so that the suit itself is two-toned like this?

I'm not the most experienced seamstress, but so far I've been able to handle all my projects and I've worked with some pretty unforgiving fabrics. Is there a relatively simple way to do this? If not, then I'll just do my best with the hard way.
