(no subject)
So I've been pretty busy in the past couple of days doing costume design for a Shakespeare play that goes up next week. I kind of still can't wrap my head around the fact that I have a real design JOB in NYC. I think the show'll look pretty good, but I also kind of feel like I'm faking it.
Also, it's so not my idea of good theater, which makes it kind of hard to get all that excited about it, unfortunately. It's 100% by the book. There's nothing imaginative, inventive, ironic, funny, meta, or hip about it. It's just....people reciting Shakespeare for 3 hours on an almost bare stage. So I would invite all of you to it....but honestly, you might as well save your $18.
