I think the universe is against me listening to "Standing" from the "Once More With Feeling" soundtrack uninterrupted while at work.
Seriously, I'm not even kidding. No matter what time of day it is, I can almost guarantee that sometime during that song (one of my top three favorite songs on the soundtrack, performed by my favorite character), something will interrupt me. Maybe it's Ellen coming back to tell me something. Maybe it's someone coming back to talk to Ellen. Maybe it's a phone call that no one up front can answer. Or some other unexpected thing. But it happens far more frequently during "Standing" than probably any other song.
The up side, of course, is that I tend to repeat the song (so I can hear it in full), so it makes the song last a bit longer.
