Happy Needless Turkey Murder Day! Just remember, they are not "beautiful, intelligent animals", but in fact "ugly and stupid and delicious." Ah, Friends' Thanksgiving episodes. Seeing Monica dance around with a turkey on her head never gets old.

So, who saw Saturday Night Live this weekend? It was surprisingly good. I loved the Kevin Federline Read more... )

The girl who stole the shoes was only in the scene re: the stealing of the shoes and beating the other girl up for the shoes. The girl who followed Sam was the same one who showed up at the end and killed the demons with a sword. That's one of the new S3 regulars, Ruby. I didn't find them too hard to tell apart, but I know what you mean about some of the girls on CW shows seeming incredibly generic. I call them the blonde bims.

I adored the new opening. It was really badass.

I found the drain cleaner scene hard to watch, too. Ick.

I think it would be hard to top S2 opener, considering their dad died in it. This one was pretty good. I am really excited about this season. I like the introduction of new hunters and the new "vibe" to the show. I think expanding the Supernatural universe will keep the show from getting stale.

Oh, okay. So we haven't met the other one yet? I thought they'd both be in this ep for some reason.

Nope. The other one, Bela, shows up later. I'd say which specific episode, but I'm not sure you want to be spoiled that much.

I don't watch that drain cleaner scene whenever I watch the episode. I have to turn away. lol. It's so disgusting I can't bring myself to watch it again.

I'm thinking that there was not a single girl on set (other than the actors) the day they filmed the shoe scene, because everyone I've talked to/heard talk about it, has hated those shoes. Myself included. They're hideous! lol. Any woman with any say in the show should have/would have vetoed those shoes and found others. I hope. OR. (I just had a thought.) Or maybe they're supposed to be really ugly to show how Envy affected her judgment. Though that still doesn't explain why the brunette bought them in the first place, but whatever. I'm rambling. lol.

In conclusion, I agree with your general assessment of the episode. It was ok, but it didn't blow me away, which is a shame, considering this was the first premiere I got to see in real time (I got into the show in Feb.) Oh well, I'm still holding out hope for future eps.

Yeah! I just realized that maybe they're green because she's supposed to be green with envy. But I'm sure being possessed probably messes with your judgment, too. And gives you bad fashion sense.

Ha! Understatement of the week! lol. But yea, I like to think that if it wasn't for Envy, the woman wouldn't have been stupid enough to even look twice at those ugly things. And I'm sure the colour of the shoes was deliberate :)
