My WHAT is coming up?
So, I'm turning 30 a month from today. I have decided to do a blowout birthday party. I'm going to California! It's been much to long since I've gone wild at theme parks, so I'm jumping at the chance to do so. The itinerary currently stands as follows:
Sunday, March 22 Drive to Cali
23 Knott's Berry Farm
24 Magic Mountain
25 Chill Day: Beach, Nice Dinner, Tiki-Ti
26 DISNEYLAND
27 Disney's California Adventure/More Disneyland
28 Travel home
I currently have the possible hotels down to three. One is the Georgian, an Art Deco hotel on the beach in Santa Monica. It's a little out of the way of everything but the beach, so this one may get thrown out. Next is the Safari Inn in beautiful downtown Burbank. It's about in between Six Flags and Knott's/DLand, and is quite retro. The last possibility is the hotel on property at Knott's Berry Farm. Safari Inn is going for $75 a night, Knott's for $58. The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning toward Knott's... the Buena Park area has usually been my home base when I'm in Cali, and I'm spending more time on that side of town than San Fernando/Santa Clarita valleys.
