So... what's next?

Okay, I've got a lot of next-step options laying out in front of me, so I could use some help sorting throught them a little bit. Here's what's on mind:

First, a single from the album. I think I NEED to do one, so that leaves two questions:

#1 Could I get away with an online-only single, or do I need to have some physical ones printed? Sub-question: Since singles don't generally sell well, if you are in favor of having physical copies made, would you be satisfied with short-run burned CDs with proper artwork as opposed to a full run of normal "glass-mastered" CDs? Do you care one way or the other?

#2 My gut is telling me that the first single should be "Perverse", with "Two Sandwiches" as the sort of "additional" track for the maxi single. (Traditionally, I do maybe 3 versions of the main track, and two of the "sub" track.) Am I way off here, or do these two song selections make sense? Two uptempo, club-friendly songs, both of which seem to be favorites. It seems to make sense to me. Though long-time fans seem to like "I Wish" best, I'm not sure how well that'll remix... or if it'd work for any club DJs wishing to play it.

Okay, so those are my thoughts on a single, but what about these other ideas?...

"Mark Nicholas VS Cosmicity" - A 4 song EP of the most translatable Cosmicity songs remade/remixed in my new sound/style. But why, you ask? Because right now, if you're a Cosmicity fan and you search anywhere with the word "Cosmicity", you probably won't find me. But if I did an EP like this, you WOULD. Not to mention, it would give me some additional material for live use... that is, if I ever have an opportunity to do a live show again. For whatever reason, right now, it seems like I might not. But that's a discussion for another entry another day. The point is, it could be a bridge for Cosmicity fans to find me.

or

"Duchess 33 1/3" - Much like disc 2 of "Escape Pod For Two", or disc 1 of "Resynthesized"... actually, a lot more like Resynthesized... it would be reworkings, mostly uptempo, of just about every song on Duchess 33. So, a remix album, if you will. This could be INSTEAD of a single, but I'm not sure that's a good idea. I feel like a single is needed for promotion purposes. Example: If I only put this remix album out into the world, I think it becomes even more confusing to people who've never heard of Mark Nicholas. Where do they start? If there's a single, at least they know to start by checking out that one song.

Any of these ideas? None of these? Your thoughts are appreciated.
