So I still haven't decided whether or not I'm going back to MHC. I know, I know. It's very late. I changed my flight from Thursday to Saturday so I'd have a few extra days to think about things.
So here are the pros and cons of A) Staying in Chicago and B) Going back to Mount Holyoke.
Pros of A: I'm happy here. I have a support base here. I need to take time to get healthy again. I could continue my internships, etc. and do work that grounds me.
Cons of A: I'll be off for an entire semester. Might have to live with my parents (although, my dad has mentioned getting me my own place). If I want to apply to a "good school" again, I might not be able to get in. I won't get to do my improv group at MHC or anything else that's positive there.
Pros of B: Improv Group, and a few other positive things and people (classes?). I will have a better chance of getting into a "good school" if I stick it out there for another semester. It might be ok? Ok, that's not really a 'pro' but...
Cons of B: Too many to name, but let me give it a shot. Not many friends. No support base. The gay community isn't really what I expected it would be. Tons of people hate me, apparently. Getting harassed online by said people. My roommate situation.
I just don't know. But enough of the negative, there are tons of positive things.
So yesterday I went to the GLSEN Youth Commitee meeting and it was so much fun. Although the announcements weren't very happy...uggh, Kevin Jennings is a douchebag. As is everyone who works for National. But afterward, Me, Aaron, Jawahn, Jarred, Gale, Rain, and I went to see Underworld Evolution. Ok, so I had never seen the first Underworld and I was REALLY confused throughout the entire movie, but that's ok. It was such a fun time. And then we all went to Starbucks, met up with mario, and just sort of chilled. Then we came back to my place, had a sort of sleepover with Aaron, and fooled around online and watched Scary Movie (the first one).
Tomorrow night we are going to the PREMIERE of the new lesbian movie, "Imagine Me and You", and Piper Perabo (the star!) is going to be there. I'm so excited that we got passes for this. Crazy shit.
