Weekend at Gabriel's 1/2

“I don’t understand why you felt I shouldn’t hear about this,” Dean roared.

Following Sam’s confession of his services to Fitzgerald McCloud-the details of which he’d only vaguely been able to obtain from either of the Winchesters-Sam’s private session with Missouri had been turned into the family therapy of old by a furious and confrontational ( Read more... )

Oh man, I've been checking this journal every day to see if you'd updated, and then I saw this and got super excited! ♥

Then I read it and now I'm going to be checking multiple times a day. XD I love that you have Castiel looking at his life and having second thoughts after the violence in the last few; it feels a lot more human than his endless patience. I can't wait to see where this is going.

Thank you! I'm working on an "arc" where Cas does a lot of questioning, mostly about Sam. There will be flaws in Cas' immortal patience, because I like the humanity of all the characters in SPN, even the "supernatural" ones. :)

This has left me sad and feeling unsettled. I'm really looking forward to seeing where you go with this. I can see why Cas is questioning his relationship with both Winchester's but I'm looking for a quick fix and I don't see one anytime soon. I hope you don't take to long to update!

Awww, no worries! The next installment will be up in the next few days. And in this 'verse, Team Free Will will always come back together, no matter how tough the challenge. :)

Awww! Poor Cas. He needs to remember...when we love someone we love them *despite* their flaws...and he should remember the serenity prayer too! Wisdom to tell the difference my friend, you're not gonna change Dean's need to look out for Sammy no matter what it takes...I guess that's Cas's journey; to decide whether he can accept that. :)
Fab instalment! Looking forward to the next one! :)

Awww, thank you! And you're right: Cas is having some struggles here, mainly because he's forgotten he's not perfect. He'll remember, don't worry!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and, as always, leaving such smart, warm, awesome feedback!

OOh that was heartbreaking. Sam had a lot of fears about Dean finding out, and how it would affect his brother's perception of him - and now it is CAS who has changed his opinions and feelings towards Sam. This is so sad!

I'm really, really glad to see you here, because I remember awhile back you weren't liking this 'verse because it villanized Sam. Your opinion is highly valued, and I'm glad that you got what I was trying for here: that Dean's opinion will never change, but Cas' will evolve. Thank you so much for reading, and taking the time to comment!

Well in this case, I think Cas's opinion has devolved :P I have skimmed over some of the other stories but haven't had a chance to comment indepth. I think the first story I ended up reading - the one that portrayed the worse of Sam - was perhaps not the best one for me to start with. I do think it is interesting that people look down on recovering addicts. It takes away something from their accomplishment of coming back from that life when so many 'recovering' addicts end up overdosing or worse, they never attempt to recover at all.

It's true. And for the record: one of my brothers has issues with addiction, I love h/c, I love Sam, and I've recovered from an eating disorder, and, though my story isn't the same as addict's it's very similar. Although this 'verse will delve into angst and loss and sadness, I ultimately intend it to be one of comfort, strength, and redemption: just as, I feel, SPN is in canon. :)

Thank you so much! I'd like to see Lou too...I have a few ideas for his appearance, but he's been very quiet thus far. Gabe, on the other hand, is demanding guest appearances. :) Thank you so much for taking the time to comment!

Thank you so much!

I'd like to see Lou too. But right now he's not talking to me. I have a few ideas how to bring him in, but again, right now, he's quiet. :( If you have suggestion feel free to make them! I will give full credit!
