If you are very squeemish, you probably shouldn't take apart a keyboard because today I discovered some mysterious slime inside of mine that was very uncooperative. Stage one of the operation has occured with only minor snags however. Tomorrow I might see if we have a soldering iron somewhere so I can soup up this thing, especially since an incident with a sponge might mean that the original speaker won't be working so well. I found solder when I was digging around once, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there's a reason for us having it. If I find one, I might have to be sending Mr.Gibbs a thank you note sometime. If I don't melt myself. As of this moment, my plan for this thing involves serious rewiring, especially as the current keys won't fit on a traditional guitar neck. I wonder if I could bribe Grady to walk to Lowes with me tomorrow. Maybe I should pursue a career in electrical engineering. I mean, Mr.Bean did....
