You look totaly drunk in that first picture :P

Nine pints!?! I'm gonna have to get real healthy so that when teh time comes, I can give you half my liver.

So you wake up sick of drinking. . . and then drink? I don't know how, but I sense some kind of flaw in your logic there :P

Oh, you know what? I had a conversation a couple months ago and. . . what exactly is the monetary value of a quid? Cause my friends bf came to vist from the UK and his ticket cost a certain amount of quid and we coudln't figure out how much that was.

I love orchids :)

I personally didn't do anything for halloween, just watched the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror and that was about it. Then again, aside from that, I never really do anything for halloween.

I hadn't even finished my first pint in that photo haha, so it might just be the angle, who knows.

I didn't wake up sick of drinking and then drink, I woke up yesterday sick of drinking and have not drank since! I went to the gym instead and had a nice movie night last night. No alcohol, very little junk food (just some delicious thai food for dinner!) but I can see how that would be confusing.

As for the nine pint thing, this was over the course of...almost six hours, so yes, excessive, but not the WORST I've ever done to my liver.

A "quid" (haha!) is a little less than double an American (or Canadian) dollar. I always double it (because it's easier to do this and it makes me less inclined to spend money frivolously at times) but I think the actual value of a pound hovers at about 1.5 an American or Canadian dollar.

I'm just teasing :P

Ohhhh, okay. Yeah cause teh way you wrote it I thought you just went right back to drinking. Alright, that makes much more sense XD

Seriously though, you are welcome to half my liver. I really don't use it.

Yeah, a quid, it's an actual word. Or am I missing something? o.O

Ah, sweet.

Haha yeah, quid is an actual word, english slang just makes me laugh :) and the term "quid" just strikes me as ridiculous. I always get the piss taken out of me (yay more english slang!) here when I say quid haha.

You should hear my developing accent in general. It's still Canadian, but certainly tinged with British; a weird hybrid if you will. I'm not completely sure how I feel about it yet, but it seems there is very little I can do to stop it!

I'll send you the address shortly!

I'd love to, but I can't seem to get you on the phone :P

This is how I am imagining it:

"I want to get out of the haose, eh? Wot you think aboat heading down to the pub, get pissed, then come back and bag off? How 'baot it mates?"

Only, you know with an accent. XD

This site is rather helpful and amusing: http://www.peevish.co.uk/slang/
