i wonder who still reads this.

for those who do: an announcement.

for reasons undisclosed at this time, i may be leaving pepperdine after this semester. future schools = psu 90% nyu 10%

aside from that, life is fairly dreary. school is windin down which means tests, papers, reading, all to the max. laziness on my part is going pretty strong and i see no deviaton from that in the near future.

id like to comment on a few things andd this is a decent opportunity since i have relatively no contact with the east coast aside from aim which hasnt been pullin its weight lately.

the neverending story - does anyone remember this acidinduced wonder from the 80s? 70s? because i sure do. i have such fond memories ofmthis film from when i was just a wee lad. now, having watched it like 8 years later, its probably one of the most retarded movies ever and id hate it more than anything if i didnt have such memories. it is utter lunacy. there is negative character development, especially that damned horse. i used to cry when i saw that bastard die, now i realize how cheap a shot that was to make me cry. we barely knew the horse for 5 minutes before its offed in some sad way, but i am just left wondering how i cried back in the day. that, plus the present day little boy is a faggot. thats all there is to that, and those bullys should beat the shit oiut of him.

the grudge/ ju-on the grudge 2 - i attended a screening of the american grudge here at good old pepperdine and actually found it somewhat terrifying. i mean, its no signs, but it is freaky as hell. there were definitely some more cheap shots here meant to make you scream, but damnit they got the job done even if they are cheap. those asian ghosts get me man. scariest scene= kayako under the covers of that sluts bed climbing up her body under the sheets. thats fucked up and now i occasionally check under the sheets for long haired asian girls. as far as the jap version goes, id recommend the american one over it. this is probably because i watched it in full japanese with no subtitles, which im sure lessened the overall effect of the film. that, and the scene where the protagonist gives birth to the ghost girl was jsut retarded. ugh. crazy japs what were they thinking. and then there was a real baby in a hamburger wrapper? i dont get things... damn you japanese!

music wise - id like to recommend a few bands among other things.

1. coheed and cambria's music video for "blood red summer" - it is rivalring rammstein for best video. it is so 28 days later esque, i just absolutely love it! teehee. beyond that, i love the song. the lead singer is a freaky wooly yeti of a man and its so weird because of his 11 year old boy voice.

2. Ima Robot - good good band. "song number 1" my favorite song thus far. everything kinda sounds the same which is a good thing. not so much emo but more freaky deaky and silly. i appreciate that.

3. of montreal - probably my favorite newfound band. they are utter insanity. silly bubbly and completely random. i recommend the cd "satanic panic in the attic," specifically the songs "vegan in furs" and "how lester lost his wife." really you should check them out if you can find them anywhere cause i sure couldnt.

4. har mar superstar - kinda like richard cheese but original in that he writes his own songs. they are good, especially the one aboiut the EZpass. i recommend songs "power lunch" and "h-a-r-m-a-r."

ps i need to get the new mars volta cd somehow. those two men are incredible and really freaky looking, but thats okay. they make g00d muzak.

thats all i really wanted to get out there. its probably time to go back to watching te neverending story or family guy or possibly even the ring. has anyone seen the ring two? is it good? i heard there are deer...
