For quite some months now, I've been wishing for some kind of neck-reminiscent jewelry display for photography, something which would properly show how my pieces hang. It was only recently that it occurred to me that I have a dress form, and my dress form has a neck. A little bit crumpled paper and some knit fabric later and here we go!

I have determined, from copious googling and the much-apperciated advice of others, that my poor loyal camera is probably on its poor loyal deathbed. What's the solution to not having enough cash to repair or replace a camera? Make the poor deathbed camera last as long as it can, of course, and go earn more cash! Tiger iron seems to be an uncommon stone, but it's certainly one of my favorites. It consists of banded layers of three other stones: red jasper, hematite, and tigereye. Anyone noticing trends in my jewelry-work will recall that I frequently combine jasper and hematite or tigereye and hematite- it's a good look.

I'm not sure what the original inspiration was, but a little while ago I decided I wanted to use nugget beads to make a really, obscenely long necklace with a simple, regular pattern to it- so that the whole thing was uniform in design.
