Story: The Nature of a Mutant
The Council group that had been called to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters-to deal with an unwanted case of telepathy after accidentally fighting and killing a Vlk demon-stood gaping at the beautiful mansion that housed the school. Their surprise over where they had ended up changed to shock when they saw a blue-haired mutant launch himself at one of the Slayers.
---
Logan watched in fascination as his lover of two years launched himself at one of the girls that had arrived with the Council group and started an honest-to-god fight that had nothing to do with fighting to survive. Slayer strength was no match for the strength of an enraged mutant and in less than a minute the fight had ended with the girl being held to the ground by a single three-fingered hand wrapped around her throat.
---
Shock was quickly replaced by anger as the Council group pulled weapons out of nowhere-literally. One minute their hands were empty and the next they were pulling swords and axes out of thin air. In response, Logan growled low in his throat and took a step closer to his lover, secure in the knowledge that the other X-Men would have his back. Seeing the Council prepare themselves for a fight, Scott brought his hand to his glasses while Storm started to gather storm clouds above them.
---
“Don’t even think about it, little girl. He’s mine,” Kurt whispered menacingly to the terrified girl.
Kurt’s words stopped everyone in their tracks as they all turned disbelieving eyes on the unlucky girl. Had she really been stupid enough to fantasise about someone when everyone knew that they were around telepaths?
---
Giving one last disgusted look at the girl he had pinned down so easily, Kurt stood up and made his way to Logan, wrapping a possessive arm around his waist while his free hand made his way into Logan’s hair. Standing on his toes, he gave Logan a lingering kiss, making clear to everyone who his lover was. Never one to waste an opportunity, Logan quickly deepened the kiss. It was only Xavier’s quiet “enough” that stopped Kurt and Logan from giving everyone more of a show than they had already provided.
Throwing a triumphant smirk over his shoulder, Kurt slipped his hand in the back pocket of Logan’s jeans before guiding him towards the mansion, intent on making good on the promise he had made when he had kissed his lover in front of all those strangers.
Let professor X deal with the Council. Let them find a solution to the telepathy problem he currently had. He had a lover to satisfy and nothing was going to stop him from reaching his goal-several times, if he had any say in it.
End of “The Nature of a Mutant”.

Any and all reviews (doesn’t matter which ones: ones that give a simple well-done or ones that give me some kind of feedback) are much appreciated. Flames will be given back to the people who gave them to me with a nice *cough* little note that sets them straight on why I neither like nor condone flames.
