I wish there was a modern day Erma Bombeck out there Heck, maybe there is and instead of being syndicated, she has a blog somewhere.
Since last Thursday, I've attended a middle school graduation (oldest son), took all four minions to a family gathering two hours away (birthday party for nephew-in-law), and somehow shoehorned in buying presents and arranged a nice Father's Day for the husband.
This week it was play taxi for daughter's summer courses, doctor's appt. for the twins, a last day of school for the youngest daughter, and, well...
Summer is not always an easy time in my house and I say that with all seriousness.
This year, though, I've put together a chore chart for all four of them. They do the chores, they earn points to trade in for money. They don't do what's on the list, they get negative points and lose computer time.
We'll see how it works.
In the meantime, I'm keeping on keeping on with Geek Dad work.
And I got my
FIRST REVIEW of Freya's Gift. it's a positive and really thoughtful review and much appreciated.
And here's the
earlier interview I did for the webzine on my writing.
I am hoping to have some excellent news soon. If you have any luck to send me, I could use it. :)
